Synopsis If She Can Do It is an event documentary shot on the premise that women are creating comfortable and fun environments to pull more women into the sport of Freeride Mountain Biking. It was filmed in July 2012 at the Sugar Showdown, a womens freeride mountain bike event held at Duthie Hill Park in Issaquah, Washington. The event was hosted by Kat Sweet of Sweetlines. The video tells the story of progression in mountain biking from Cross Country riding to Gravity and Freeride through the eyes of women in the sport. It tells a fun, energetic, and collaborative story of women inspiring women to push new limits and learn new skills to accomplish awesomeness on a bike. The participation of women in Gravity Mountain Biking continues to grow. Women are coming to mountain biking for the first time. They are crossovers from other sports and riding disciplines like XC and Road. They are learning basic skills, dropping and jumping at events like Sugar Showdown. Kat Sweet and coaches like Tammy Donahugh, Gale Dahlager, and all the pros assembled for the 2012 Sugar Showdown brought their electric enthusiasm and skills to Seattle to fire up the ladies and show them that If she can do it, I can do it."
